Amma - Agricultural Micro-organisms Manufacturers & Farmers Association

AMMA is managed by the Board of Directors representing various interests of constituent member units. Presently, the Board comprises 7 executive Directors who are mostly the Chief Executives of various manufacturing companies in India. The President, Vice president and the Secretory are elected as per the bylaws of association. The Advisory board of AMMA is highly qualified members including Govt., quasi Govt. Universities, Agriculture Dept. and various institutes shaping the product for registration in India.

The activities of AMMA are carried out through various functional divisions/depts. namely Technical, Environment & Safety, Marketing, Statistics, Information and Communication, Economics, Agricultural Sciences, Documentation, Accounts and Administration and Public Relations.

The AMMA's office is located in Nashik and proposed to plan offices at Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai , Indore, Surat. The Regional Offices focus primarily on local issues and will have continuous interface with the biopesticides manufacturers operating in their respective regions, the state governments and other local authorities.
